Professional Dance Instructor
Michael started dancing when he was 8 years old. He danced and competed in both Standard and Latin International ballroom style. For a period of 12 years, Michael competed with his long time partner Peony and won multiple dance competitions in BC and North America. Michael has travelled to England to train with the world’s top teachers in London. He competed at the world famous Blackpool Dance Festival “British Open”. Michael’s long competitive career has given him great experience in both Standard and Latin styles and he has a great desire to share his knowledge. He is excited at the new prospect of teaching at the Crystal Ballroom and expanding his horizons in dance.

- BC Standard – Runner Up
- BC 10 Dance Champions – 2010
- BC Open Champions – 2009
- Snowball Classic under 21 – Standard Champions and (Tied) Latin Champions – 2008
- Seattle Star Ball – both Standard and Latin Champions – 2009
- Multiple major finals in North America
